Information You Submit
When you use a search form, the name, telephone number, or address you enter goes to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of that query. A message sent through our contact channel contains only the details you choose to provide, and we use those details to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs that may contain an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate to maintain the site and learn which resources visitors use. Cookies or comparable technology may support basic site analytics and, when applicable, measurement of advertising.
How We Use Collected Data
Collected data helps us run the site, diagnose faults, assess traffic, and improve content. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Websites
Links may lead to Des Moines, King County, or Washington government portals, library collections, and outside search services. Information entered on a linked site is subject to that site's privacy terms rather than this policy. The same distinction applies to sponsored search results, which an outside company provides.
Parties That May Process Data
Companies that host or support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising services may receive the automatic information already described. We may disclose data when valid legal process requires it, but otherwise do not share visitor information.
Safeguarding Your Information
An encrypted connection delivers the site. Server logs are kept only as long as the stated operational purposes require. Because visitors do not create accounts here, this site holds no user password or account profile.
Visitors Under Age 18
This service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted such information, and we will remove it.
Your Choices and Data Rights
Your rights to inspect, correct, or delete website-held personal data can depend on where you live. Washington has not enacted a California-style comprehensive consumer privacy or data-broker deletion law. Chapter 19.373 RCW, the My Health My Data Act, applies to defined consumer health data rather than all public-record or people-search information. Because we retain little, we can generally check our contact mailbox and server logs and remove responsive material we control. Submit a request through the Contact page. Records held by Des Moines, King County, or Washington offices remain under the control of those custodians. Their disclosure and exemptions may be governed by the Washington Public Records Act, chapter 42.56 RCW, and a commercial suppression request does not erase an official deed, court, assessor, voter, or license source.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
Any revised policy will appear here. If you continue using the site after a revision is posted, that continued use signifies acceptance of the updated policy.
